It's baseball kid!

Not golf...

I can, however see where your alliance falls. All day everyday all P talks about is golf... Go tee it up, go tee it up on saturday. P can turn anything into a golf club and ball, he is just like his dad. I think the happiest I have ever seen him is when he gets to go golfing. He loves everything about the sport from sand traps to the pin. He has had real golf clubs since he was 1, just like his dad.

This weekend we wanted to branch out a little and picked up a t-ball set after he figured out it wasn't golf he got into it and he is really good! I'm so glad P got Paul's abilities, because I'm far from sporty.

After baseball and more baseball we all ran around the yard and had a blast. The weather this weekend was beautiful and we all had so much fun hanging out together. We also worked on painting the (inside of the) house. I'm glad to say that is coming to an end, I can't wait until it is all done!

Congrats are in order

That's right you guys, my awesome, amazing and hard working husband got a promotion! We are so excited! It will take a bit of training time and studying before he is fully into his new role, but we are behind him 100%. I don't think I can say how lucky we are enough, we are so thankful for his company. Along with a promotion comes so many thoughts, mainly about our house. I hope we can do something things we have been thinking about sooner than we thought, like replacing counters, carpet and getting our floors refinished.  I think the most exciting thing we are going to do is a family vacation to the beach! P has never been and I know he would love it.

Cheers to a man who absolutely deservers every good thing that comes his way. I hope his new role in his company is fulfilling and he comes into his new position with ease and excitement. We are so so proud of him. I love you PP.

I'm just a curbside prophet

Got my hand in my pocket
and I'm waiting for my rocket to come...

Despite being sick P and I spent the beautiful spring day playing outside

we found plenty of rocks and threw them in the woods

I tried out my new tripod to try to get some pictures of P and I together, out of about 52 photos, this was the only good one! The tripod has a bit of a learning curve but I hope to figure it out so I can take a couple family shots soon.

As the day faded and Paul came home from work P and I were steadily declining, thats when we figured out the allergies we thought we were suffering from is actually a cold. It is really unfortunate the first few nice days of spring bring a cold but I think we will make it through, armed with a full neti pot and an arsenal of tissues.
